Welcome to Tyler Nanny Services. We are a referral agency that helps find the best position for you. We strive to make the best match for you and your future employer. Once the placement is made, we do not stop there. We follow up with you, and put you in touch with other caregivers in your area to create a supportive network.

Our nannies pay no fees and our temporary nannies keep 100% of what they earn. We trust that you will find our service to be the best to work with.

The nanny profession provides higher salaries than any other segment in the childcare industry including daycare, pre-school, and some sections of the teaching profession.

Minimum Requirements Include:

  • At least 3 years of childcare experience; experience must have been acquired within the last 5 years
  • At least 3 childcare references; references CANNOT be relatives or friends and 3 character references
  • Non-smoker
  • Prefer some college, but will accept experience in lieu
  • Must have your own car with insurance
  • Candidates may NOT bring their own children to work with them

The Process

You may complete the Nanny Application online or print, complete, and send it by mail.
We will screen your application verify the information you provide, and contact your references.  If you meet qualifications, we will then contact you for an initial interview. At that interview you will authorize us to do a criminal background check, driving record check, and verify your social security information.

After those checks you will be invited back to the office for an orientation meeting. Orientation meetings are held monthly for new nannies who have been screened for placement. During the orientation meeting we will cover your professional responsibilities and our expectations of you as a professional nanny. You must attend the orientation meeting prior to being placed.

Once you have completed the orientation process, you will be ready for placement. Your application will be sent only to the families that match your specifications. This ensures a good match between you and the family.

When you are offered a position with a family, you will contact the office to let us know your decision. On your acceptance of the position we will send a nanny/family contract to your new employer.

We will follow up after placement to make sure you and your family are doing well. We are available for any questions or concerns you may have. You can be confident that we are sending you to loving environments, where you can expect to be treated as a professional.

Once a nanny or babysitter has entered into an agreement with Tyler Nanny Services she/he is under agreement with our agency and cannot work for the clients or the families outside the guidelines of our agreement (Click to see the agreement). Taxes and insurance are to be paid by the caregivers or the family depending on the agreement with the family. Tyler Nanny Services is a referral agency only.
